Open your head, and let it all in. If it makes you feel good that don't make it a sin. Your God wouldn't want you to hate all this way spread a gospel of shit, Phuque the people of today You kill, your God doesn't. you live shit your bible doesn't. you kill your god doesn't want you. you live shit your bible can't stop you. love isn't death. religion's not hatred. many among us as children were led, to bow to our god with crowns of thorns on our heads. we grew and we knew no god would torture this way, we grew up and we're burning churches today.

when all has fallen from dictators hands, and the people who earn have control of the land. when this day has come, i'll be the first one to proudly display our flag. it stands for truth and justice for every human being, but the american way of equality right now ain't worth seeing. so kiss the flag. love it or leave it i hear the cry, but when trying to love-it i ask myself why. i want to leave it, to get the phuque out' to somewhere where flags aren't talked about.

Born... into a land. It's not an accomplishment, not something to die for. I... need... A source of pride. Something that's all fucking mine. It takes no effort. nothing achieved. A fake, work free, source of pride! What the fuck is there to believe in? A piece of dirt, a piece of cloth? Love it or leave it? These nationalistic attitudes are an excuse. No need to develop pride in yourself. The individual erased. To achieve the American dream means that there has to be a certain amount of people who have nothing at all.

Sometimes... I find myself Drowning... In a state of disbelief Why must people... Knock each other down Spit each other out... and not just let them be We do to each other What we did to the world Don't try to listen... Don't understand We knock it down... smooth it out Till it's easy access, plain and dull I try to hear you, will you hear me

about

Live at QE2 in Albany New York. Opening slot for Intent and MDC (Millions of Dead Cops).

Still fine tuning this release...

After our second proper song our singer Nathaniel got pulled off stage by Albany cops in a case of mistaken identity.

First show for us at a club in Albany for our unapologetically emo group from a small town adjacent to Schenectady, New York. Jo basically assumed you would accept us and could cope with our grafting of metal riffs and folk sentiment to punk songs; our clearly not-in-the-norm or in whatever freaking narrowly defined subcultures might be too all about that sort of thing at the time stance; and, our use of irony and personae. If not, whatever. Move on.

We were also all about coffee and French fries. Like seriously dedicatedly so. It was our religion. Welcome to the suburbs.

If you were the opener here (and at other venues back then and maybe otherwise) you did a sound check right before your set. Kind of kills the momentum. On the plus side, they had a more or less proper stereo PA. AND they would roll you a tape (as in cassette) right off of the board. That's the source of this recording. Unfortunately there was some crackle from that process in this case.

Afterwards... The exact moment where bass player Marc wanted to murder DJ Dave... listen for it. You can feel the saccharin sarcasm slither out of his mouth before he really did go after him to get paid what we were owed for the gig after we were done.

9. Let Us Enjoy The Rest of Our Days (B.S. Song)

X. After Set chatter

Our drummer Neil broke a stick in there somewhere too.

This show was right around when we were featured in Maximum Rocknroll magazine. Naturally, we broke up shortly afterwards.
